2.5 - 4 lb beef roast

Tablespoon of oil

12 ounce can of Dr. Pepper
- 1
can of cream of mushroom soup
- 1
package of dry onion soup mix
Heat oil in a large
skillet over medium to medium high heat. Sear the beef roast on all sides. You
want it to be browned evenly on all sides, but not cooked through. Place seared
beef roast in 3 - 6 quart crock pot (just make sure it fits nicely in whatever
size crock pot you use).
In a small bowl mix the
dry onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup and the can of Dr. Pepper. Pour
mixture over beef roast and cook on low all day (which is probably 7 - 9
hours).
